GARDENERS’ Globe star Monty Don has paid a heartfelt homage to his late dog Nellie and unveiled her resting spot.
Last week, the gardening expert, 68 declared the sad news that his beloved pooch, had passed away on Instagram.
Monty, 68 discovered that at the stop of October his “pretty pet dog” Nellie lastly finished her “wrestle with the cancer”.
The doggy had been identified with the deadly disease back in June.
Monty revealed that she now rests in the coppice, alongside his beloved pup Nigel and the other six dogs who have been a cherished section of his daily life for 32 a long time.
Monty compensated a sweet tribute to Nell, and dubbed her the “prettiest”, “sweetest”, and “most liked of dogs”.
The Gardeners’ Environment host, reported: “Fairly naughty – she was an arch thief who could melt your heart by gazing soulfully at you owning nicked and eaten a freshly baked birthday cake still left briefly to awesome…
“But experienced not a bad bone in her human body. We pass up her terribly but rejoice the 8 a long time that she enriched our life.”
Recently, Gardeners World paid a heart-warming tribute to Nell by airing a touching clip of her best moments on the well known BBC display.
The show’s official X/Twitter account, tweeted: “Bye-bye Nellie. We shall pass up you x x.”
Lovers ended up remaining sobbing at the touching tribute.
