Great British Bake Off contestant Marc Elliott admits swindling more than £20k in disability benefits

A BAKE Off contestant has admitted swindling much more than £20,000 in disability benefits.

Marc Elliott, 55, insisted he could not conduct certain duties just after an accident the place he shed aspect of his leg.

He also claimed dollars for significant panic, totalling £20,430.

But in the 2020 Channel 4 sequence he was found confidently mingling with other people, baking for hours and even having component in a race.

Elliott, a sculptor from Cornwall, pleaded responsible to benefit fraud at a listening to past thirty day period.

He was sentenced to a three-12 months conditional discharge at Bodmin magistrates’ courtroom.
