Since releasing her debut album in 1983, Madonna has hardly ever been out of the public eye — and she’s never stopped offering ground-filling pop hits.
Born in Bay Town, Michigan, in 1958, Madonna — whose comprehensive name is Madonna Louise Ciccone — began dancing as a child following convincing her father to enable her study ballet in its place of the piano. Following graduating from substantial college in 1976, she attended the University of Michigan on a dance scholarship, but she dropped out two a long time afterwards and moved to New York City.
