A Law enforcement officer has appeared in court docket accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-previous woman whilst he was on obligation.
Laptop Dean Dempster, from Larger Manchester Law enforcement, allegedly groped the child in Oldham on December 29.
The 34-year-old appeared at Liverpool Crown Court docket today billed with assaulting the woman by sexual touching.
Dempster is also accused of misconduct in a general public business office as he was on obligation at the time.
No plea was entered but a provisional demo day was established for June 19.
The cop was remanded into custody in advance of a further listening to on February 23.
Dempster joined the force in 2021 immediately after serving as a distinctive constable and ambulance service paramedic.
He was posted to GMP’s Oldham district at the time of the alleged offence.
GMP reported in a assertion: “The officer has been suspended from responsibility and misconduct proceedings will resume on the summary of criminal proceedings.”
